Learn how to design and implement your own health care improvement project through this online simulation-based course. Through hands-on exercises, you will go through the journey of identifying, planning, measuring, and creating process changes that will lead to results—receiving feedback from Harvard faculty at every step of the way.

By the end of Health Care Quality Improvement: From Design to Implementation, you will know how to:

  • Develop your aim for improvement
  • Identify the improvement team
  • Flowchart the process of care delivery
  • Establish your improvement indicators
  • Determine how to test and monitor changes in your process
  • Graph the results
  • Finalize your design ready to be implemented 

This course also contributes to the Executive Leadership in Health Care Certificate of Specialization offered by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
